Owner Representation (or Advocacy) is the practice of providing executive management skills and technical knowledge to an Owner contemplating or engaged in the design and construction of a major project.

Often recognized as a trusted Advisor, the Owner's Rep provides continuous direction and organization on complicated, technologically challenging projects.

Unlike other project professionals, the Owner's Representative maintains no business relationship with those engaged in design and construction thus assuring conflict free, independent analysis and recommendations.

The four essential elements of a successful Advocacy include:

  • Careful assessment of the Owner's project needs
  • Development of Program/Project strategy
  • Creation of an organization that carefully integrates existing resources.
  • Administration and Oversight of the organization and procurement strategy to assure focus.
